Node1 Robinhood Feed Benchmark
October 9: from one Ohio receiver, Node1 2b and 2c TX Feed led official by a median 21.479 ms and 21.062 ms across 76,207 common transactions.
TX Feed: receive the same transaction earlier
Updated October 9, 2026. One receiver in Ohio compared Node1 2b TX, 2c TX, and the official Robinhood mainnet Feed simultaneously. Six five-minute windows yielded 76,207 transactions received by all three feeds.
| Comparison | Median arrival lead | Earlier-arrival rate |
|---|---|---|
| Node1 2b TX vs. official | 21.479 ms | 99.997% |
| Node1 2c TX vs. official | 21.062 ms | 100.000% |
| Node1 2b TX vs. 2c TX | 0.345 ms | 99.703% |
2b and 2c identify Feed endpoints, not separate receiver locations. All timing metrics use the common sample. Each round had a 20-second warm-up and a 10-second matching period after measurement. Complete signed transaction bytes were matched by SHA-256 using first receipt times; all six rounds were included.
Timestamps were taken on complete WebSocket message delivery, before offline transaction extraction. Node1 TX negotiated no compression; the official feed required compression support and negotiated permessage-deflate, so timing includes decompression where applicable. This measures application receipt advantage and does not isolate compression overhead.
Completeness: another 31 transactions were observed only on official, and 20 on 2c plus official but not 2b; these are excluded from timing comparisons. No connection or decoding errors were recorded during measurement and matching. These results do not imply zero loss.
These benchmark results are a snapshot of performance at the time of testing and apply only to the stated test period and conditions. Performance may change afterward with network conditions, load, and service updates. The results do not establish current or future performance or constitute an ongoing performance guarantee. 100% describes the common sample only. TX format and transport conditions differ from the September native-feed test, so this is not a like-for-like performance trend.
